The 2nd preliminary meeting of Asia Print was held from 14:30 to 17:30 on Sep 26th, 2008 at the VIP room of KINTEX, Korea.
The meeting attendees are: Mr. Wang Demao from PEIAC and Ms. Dujing from CPSC; Mr. Sunny Phang from SFTCPPA and Ms. Belle Yam from Kaizer Exhibitions; Mr. Jimmy Juneanto from PPGI and Mr. Daud Salim from Krista Exhibitions; Mr. John L. Choa from PIAP; Mr. Choong-Jin KIM and Mr. Jason KIM from Korea E & Ex Inc.
During the meeting, the following issues have been discussed and decided:
The full name of the federation was confirmed as the Federation of Asia Print Exhibitions, shortly called “Asia Print”.
Meeting attendees discussed, revised and passed the Constitution of Asia Print.
Meeting attendees elected Mr. Wang Demao, the Vice Chairman Executive of PEIAC and the board chairman of CPSC, as the President of Asia Print; and Mr. Choong-Jin KIM, the President and CEO of Korea E & Ex Inc., as the Vice President of Asia Print.
Meeting attendees have appointed Ms. Belle Yam, the Managing Director of Kaizer Exhibitions, as the Preliminary Secretary General of Asia Print. Ms. Belle Yam will take charge of the contacts before the official establishment of Asia Print.
Meeting attendees have decided to pass this memorandum as well as the Asia Print Constitution to India and Pakistan. It is wished that they could confirm all items by signatures before 31st Dec, 2008, which would confirm their status as founding members of Asia Print.
During the meeting, it is decided that the 1st member congress of Asia Print will be held on May 14th, 2009, in Beijing. The official establishment of Asia Print will be announced at the congress.
