Mr. Jianguo Xu joined Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation in September 2006 and was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. Mr. Xu took the position of Chairman of Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC) since Sept. 2011.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Xu has over 30 years of management experiences in industrial economic field. His leadership roles include: Deputy manager of Shanghai Daily Chemical Industrial Company, Assistant director and Deputy director of Shanghai Light Industry Bureau, Party Secretary of Shanghai Light Industry Bureau, Deputy director of the Economic Committee of Shanghai City government, Director general of Baoshan and Huangpu district of Shanghai city, Deputy Secretary of Shanghai City government, and Director general of the Economic Committee of Shanghai City government.
Mr. Xu is a senior economist. He graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics with a master degree in Economics. Mr. Xu also holds an MBA from Arizona State University. He was a member of the first graduating class of the W. P. Carey EMBA Shanghai Program.
